Game 4 – NBA Finals Series Cavaliers vs. Warriors

All the commentary is that no team comes back down 3-1 and the tip-off has not happen as yet. Golden State has not lost three games in the row all season so it does not seem likely that they would allow the Cavaliers to take this one.  The series is Cavaliers 2 and Warriors 1 at this juncture and rest of the picture begins to unfold.  The game starts and the Cavaliers are running a clinic on the Warriors for the first half of the quarter.  The Cavaliers have the lead and the Warriors have yet to score in the first seven minutes of the game.  Golden State seems to take a minute to get going yet by the time we reach the final four minutes of the first quarter the score is tied 20 all.  Golden State is doubling down on Matthew Dellavedova and blocking more shot attempts made by the Cavaliers. The first quarter ends with the Warriors leading by seven points 31-24.

Golden State has picked up the pace in this game and it’s proving to be beneficial.  The Cavaliers have played only eight guys in these four games and Golden State has changed their line up a bit to get better penetration again them.  Golden State has no turn overs and rebounds in the double digits with seven minutes left in the second quarter. Matthew Dellavedova is not making his wide open three point shots and the Warriors seem to always get the rebound.  Draymond Green made it to the last four and third quarter minutes left in the half before he got a personal foul.  LeBron James gets fouled by Andrew Bogut and loses his balance and goes head first into a camera and appears to be bleeding from a slight cut on his head but he stays in the game.  LeBron gets fouled again by Andrew Bogut and he misses his free throw shots.  There is just under three minutes left in the half and Golden State still leads by twelve points.  By this time Golden States has all of one turnover for the entire first half. The half ends with Golden State in the lead by twelve points 54-42.

Cavaliers are rallying in the third quarter and midway through the Warriors lead is cut to three points. There are less than four and a half minutes left in this quarter and each team is giving it their all to try and score as much as possible because this is the taboo game that clinches the fate of one.  Stephen Curry is not connecting on many of his shot this game he’s 4 for 12 right now but he keeps on giving it the old college try.  Golden State has had four turnovers in the third quarter.  Andrew Iguodala is having a big game tonight meeting the challenges that his team needs to keep this battle fluid.  The quarter comes to an end with Golden State leading by six points 76-70.

Last twelve minutes to go and LeBron James starts out on the bench which is a great break for Golden State. With less than nine minutes in the game and the lead is cut to 10 points still in Golden State’s favor.  LeBron comes back in the game but the Cavaliers cannot seem to cut the lead of the Warriors down.  The Golden State Warrior have a little over five minutes left to close this out with a sixteen point lead. The Warriors are playing exceptional well this evening and we have to give praise to both David Lee and Andrew Iguodala for their effort.  This looks like the Warrior team who had the best regular season record in the Western Conference of the 2014-2015 season.  There is only three and a half minutes left in this game and it looks like Golden State will get the win.  The Final score Golden State 103 Cleveland 82.
