Laid out for a Fifth-Grader: Indictment

The 45th President of the United States has been indicted on federal charges yet again. We all know that Donald J. Trump wants to be a great president in history. He will get part of his wish. Donald J. Trump will become the most corrupt former President of our time. The special counsel has the indictment laid out for a fifth-grader to comprehend.

There are thirty-seven counts against former president Donald J. Trump. The first thirty-one violate the espionage act. I would believe that those are the most critical. Crimes committed against the country are considered acts of treason. The penalties for such crimes are steep. Each criminal count of the indictment has been laid out for a fifth-grader to understand.

Every item has bold print to show who is committing the action, what the step is, and why it is in violation. I have to say there is no mistaking what is in question. The special counsel has even used the former President’s words against in as evidence of wrongdoing. As much as Donald J. Trump continues to deny his blatant disregard for authority, the deeper the hole he has dug grows.

You can find the entire 49-page indictment here. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the document. Again, the indictment is laid out for a fifth-grader. You do not have to understand legal jargon to digest the information presented. The preponderance of the evidence is unflappable.

Unfortunately, the indictment does not disqualify Donald J. Trump from running for a second chance to become the United States President of America again. The likelihood of Donald J. Trump winning this case does not look good. Yet, the possibility of further indictments down the line may become a reality. Hopefully, this is a lesson to all of us that following the rule of law does matter regardless of your position in life.
