The evidence is flowing in against the white house. I wish in my lifetime I would come to know such loyalty. Many in the Republican Party are rushing to defend and protect the President of the United States from retribution. What they don’t realize is if the shoe was on the other foot, Donald Trump would hand them over on a silver platter to save himself. Needless to say, the American people are paying attention as more and more agree that the President’s actions require his removal. I am not going to say that Donald Trump would sell his soul to the devil for a good headline, but he is willing to take taxpayer money to wheel and deal for personal gains. Many days I have to laugh as politics have become comical.

From the time the information came out about the Ukrainian conference call, the need to whitewash the content has grown exponentially. Here is where having a simple-minded commander-in-chief causes issues. In layman terms, President Trump insinuated the President of Ukraine, Mr. Zelensky complies with his motion with these words, “I would like you to do me a favor though.” How is it that we as everyday Americans can see the implication in that phrase alone and Republicans stress that it carries no weight towards a quid pro quo? Everybody knows what it suggests, especially when it can be traced to the aid that was approved by Congress being held at the request of the President. It’s idiot moves like this that show how politics have become comical.

President Trump is mad as hell the whistleblower followed all the rules. His poll numbers were declining with every passing day and now the numbers to start impeachment rise quickly. He appears flustered anytime a journalist ask him a question about President Zelensky. I don’t know about you, but Trump looks like he is about the crack under the pressure. In a press conference with the President of Finland, President Trump looked like he was about to leap from the podium and give a reporter asking yet another question about Ukraine the ass whipping of his life.

The issue for the Trump administration is the House of Representatives has just cause to move forward with an impeachment inquiry. Whereas with the Mueller Report, the complexity of the results was harder for the general public to digest. Therefore, even with the same tactics laid out in front of them, they chose not to engage. I guess Congress needed to have a cheering section before the big game could start. All the players are getting their ducks in order. The President of the United States is agitated and coming unglued. Funny how Trump has already told on himself and insists that there is nothing to see here. Politics has become comical on so many levels. First, the President who is man-child figures, well if they can’t charge a sitting president, then I can wreak havoc and be in the clear. Second, the Senate believes, we will protect and cover the president from anyone who will harm our agenda. Third, I believe President Trump is counting on the continued blind-faith his base has placed in him. When it has been reported in the media on several occasions that his rhetoric is unnecessarily over the top and he should stay off of Twitter in the words of his supporters.

As the story continues to unfold, Trumps’ focus has to change from a re-election bid to a fight to remain in office for the full-term of his current presidency. Because let’s face it, since the onset of his first campaign bid, politics have become comical.
