Faking the Funk Trump

From the onset of the Donald J. Trump presidency, the government has been in a state of spiral descent.  The House of Representatives as well as the Senate tip-toe around the antics of the commander-in-chief. We are nearly a full nine months into this administration. What have we learned? I don’t know about you, but I will credit President Trump with a few new catchphrases added to the English vernacular such as Confeve, Alternative Facts, Fake News and my favorite one of them all “that’s what I heard.” It appears that when he does not have an answer instead of saying, I’ll have to get back to you on that, the spin doctor searches for someone else to blame for his misstep or blundering of what is supposed to be concise messaging. He tends to mention Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama on a regular basis as scapegoats for his own lack of understanding and management.

Is it me or does he not see that his constant attacks on Women and Blacks show him in a light unbefitting of a world leader?  More to the point, does he even care? Okay, that was rhetorical, President Trump has the empathy of a rabid dog. He gives no….well you can fill the rest.

His staff is useless.  They are there to help him stay on course and govern.  Now all of his staff is not new to politics, this is definitely a blemish on their records.  They are aids in the mockery of the office of the President of the United States.

Personally, I think we give the President too much attention. Now, I understand that as the leader of the free world, we should want to know his thoughts on every subject, but not when his lack of knowledge and fumbling on-the-job training it is hardly noteworthy.  The only thing that I have learned thus far is that anyone who wants to stir the pot can be elected president and that is a sad state of affairs for the United States of America.

Here is one other thing that I can credit to the current President of the United States of America.  We as a people are so tuned into the political machine that there will not be another election cycle that goes by where people will just stay at home and let the chips fall where they may. The amount of detriment caused in the few months of this administration will not rear its ugly head today.  However, by the time we get into the throes of 2018, the house of cards will start to fall and we do not have anyone to blame but ourselves for the passive behavior in doing our civic duty by casting a ballot.

I guess sometimes you have to get burned to recognize that fire is hot. We are stuck watching President Trump fake the funk.
