2017 Year in Review

As an author, my first priority is to create. Next, it is my job to promote my books to the public to create awareness for those who may not even know that I exist. I am happy to say that I did both this year.  This was the first year that I went to the book fair/festival circuit. It was a bit scary coming face to face with strangers telling them about me and my books. Thankfully, I was well-received in every city that I went. Many of my travels had me in the southeast region of the United States.  Next year, I will set out to travel further north and dare I say mid-west.

My accomplishments include four e-books (Thoughts in the Car Political Corner Edition and Lawless Edition), Charlie the Hood Houdini and the second installment in the series The Adventures of John, James and Jack: Book Two – Choices and three paperbacks. Needless to say, I wish that I could have produced more.  All in all, I am happy with the outcome of my efforts.

A few things had to take a backseat to the travel schedule.  My blog was spotty at best this year and my podcast went on hiatus for the bulk of the year.  I still have a passion for both and will resume dedicating time to each entity. The two are near and dear to me and will get the attention deserved starting in January 2018.

It amazes me that just two short years ago, I published my first book and now I am looking to publish my fifteenth book. In addition, I am getting into the publishing game and already have my first client.  We hope to debut the new author in March 2018.

Many have shown interest in my work as well as my technique. As a result, I am working on a series of online training videos debuting first quarter 2018. It is moderately priced with unlimited access once purchased. The design allows individuals who have an interest in going on this journey a reference point for different aspects necessary to become a published author.

The grand achievement for me as an author this year is my books moving into an international space. I am happy to say that I now have a small footprint in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Thank you to all my fans old and new. Without you, I would not have a reason to create, coach or further my reach with the reading public. There are so many new things that I have in store for the New Year. I am thrilled for the opportunity to share them with you.
